An Organized, Meal Planned Fridge.

An Organized, Meal Planned Fridge.

For those that know me personally, know that I DESPISE grocery shopping. I can't stand it! The whole process; meal planning, going to the store, bringing my own bags, organizing the fridge, having all the right ingredients, then trying to put it all together in time for dinner and not burning it. -Too much work- It wasn't until about a month ago that I was perusing Facebook that I saw a few of my friends "liked" this company called Blue Apron. This company will send you all the ingredients with the exact portion sizes! Ta-Da. I'm saved! My boyfriend and I have been using Blue Apron for over a two months now and we both have so much fun preparing each meal. *Bonus* It comes with step by step (with pictures) of how to prepare each dish. Office Makeover: The Organizing Experts Headquarters

Office Makeover: The Organizing Experts Headquarters

Before After!   For me, I wanted a low budget, BIG impact makeover so I used what I had and made it better! First thing was first, I downsized everything and reorganized my space. Then, I gathered everything in the middle of the room and painted it what I like to call, "Seattle Gray." I also wanted my office desk to look less cluttered. So, I cleared the top portion that is most visible and filled each cubby with a colored frame, with a photo that I love in my color scheme of black and white. Craft Room Confidential: 3 Tips to Creating Your Ultimate Creative Space

Craft Room Confidential: 3 Tips to Creating Your Ultimate Creative Space

    1. Create Stations: Seperate out your tools, fabric, yarn, scrapbooking supplies, kids crafts, etc, and give each its own space. If space is limited, keep things seperated by grouping like items onto one shelf and coordinating each type of craft with its own color of boxes or labels. This area should be not only functional, but asthetically pleasing as well. You need to walk in and feel inspired, not stressed out about where to find your bobbins or your stencils.     2. Keep your Workspace Clear: Don't clutter up all of your flat surfaces with ribbons, buttons, or over-flowing baskets. Shelving, drawers, and peg board are great ways to have an empty work table, so you're ready to craft a moments notice. Try hanging a dowel or small curtain rod on 2 hooks, and load it up with all your ribbon; that way it is all visible and won't come unravelled (not to mention it also becomes a beautifully colorful decorative addition)....
